Faces of SHE.
One of the faces behind Project SHE. //
After 2 years of working in her post-secondary fields of Floral Design + Social Services, Sarah traded in her 3 jobs and 2006 Honda Civic for a plane ticket to Australia and a campervan with her BFF(@shayhutchings). After an amazing 5-week trip up the East Coast, followed by 3 weeks backpacking around Indonesia, Sarah set off solo to Byron Bay, NSW. This was the start of a “holiday” that would turn the travel bug into a full-blown disease. Almost a decade of hospitality experience has been a blessing for Sarah's evolving love for travel. Last fall, after a road trip from Toronto to Vancouver Island with her parents, the “waitress-life” served her once again and allowed her to settle in the Canadian Rockies. .
Returning home this spring with a fresh perspective on life + success and an interest to shift the way career development evolves. Sarah hopes to use Project SHE. in a way that leverages us to create careers that are custom to our individual lives and priorities, while surrounded by a community of women interested in supporting each other to collectively move toward a lifestyle that is rooting in holistic wellness, from career, health, and relationships.

Shay graduated post-secondary school with a General Arts and Science: Pre Health Certificate and later graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Fleming College. Shay is certified with Acrobatic Arts and has been a dance instructor since the age of 16. She now is a respected Registered Massage Therapist, and dance instructor in the community of Haliburton.
Shay has been fortunate enough to do some traveling after post-secondary school. Traveling up the East Coast of Australia, and backpacking through Bali.
Shay hopes to see Project SHE. evolve into a solid community of unapologetic women, striving for success in any way they choose. To become a space for women to come together to support one another and to encourage each other to achieve goals, careers and live by their means. Shay’s biggest hope is that Project SHE. can touch the lives of the growing youth, changing the current mindset around “success” and encouraging females at a young age to fulfill their dreams. .
